Getting There
Wedding Venue
La Peg + FringeArts
140 N Christopher Columbus Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19106
La Peg’s interior and beer garden was designed by Groundswell Design and Stokes Architecture. The industrial-chic design pays homage to the building which was originally built at the turn of the century as a high-pressure pumping station that fed fire hydrants around the center city and the northeast allowing Philadelphia to grow in height.
Traveling by Car
From the Western Suburbs
Take I-76 to Valley Forge (exit 326). Follow the signs to Philadelphia via I-76 East. Take i-76 East until you see signs for Central Philadelphia. Take I-676 East (exit 344) and continue on I-676 East to the Benjamin Franklin Bridge exit, which leads to 6th Street. Remain in the right lanes, taking care to avoid merging into the Bridge traffic on the left. Take the first left turn onto Race Street. Continue down race street, under the I-95 overpass to Columbus Boulevard. La Peg is on the corner of Columbus Boulevard and Race Street.
From North of Philadelphia on 1-95
Take I-95 South to the I-676 / 2nd street / Callowhill exit. Stay to the left on the exit ramp. After passing underneath the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, take a left onto Race Street. Continue down race street, under the I-95 overpass to Columbus Boulevard. La Peg is on the corner of Columbus Boulevard and Race Street.
From South of Philadelphia on I-95
Take I-95 North to the Columbus Boulevard exit (exit 20). At the end of the exit ramp, take a left onto South Columbus boulevard. Follow Columbus Boulevard North for two miles. La Peg is located on the left at the corner of Race Street and Columbus Boulevard just south of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge
Parking
There are two convenient lots within two city blocks of La Peg. There is also surprisingly ample street parking on Columbus Blvd and the surrounding Old City neighborhood.
One of the easiest ways to get to La Peg is with a taxi or ride service such as Uber or Lyft.
PARKING GARAGE: Parkominium
La Peg validates parking at the Parkominium (231 N. 2nd St) for $11.
Traveling by Plane
Philadelphia International Airport (PHL)
8000 Essington Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19153
The best travel option when traveling between Center City and Philadelphia International Airport is by Uber or Lyft, or the Regional Rail Train Line. Trains stop at all major Philadelphia International Airport terminals, and reach Center City Philadelphia in approximately 25 minutes, with one intermediate stop.
Traveling by Train
Trains travel from Penn Station in Manhattan, MetroPark in New Jersey, and other major Amtrak stops to Philadelphia's 30th Street Station all throughout the day. Amtrak's Acela service takes about an hour and 10 minutes from NYC Penn Station, while other Amtrak trains can take up to an hour and a half.
Shuttle for Hotel Guests to the Venue
There will be a complimentary shuttle for hotel guests leaving the hotel to the venue at 3:45 PM.
Returning back to the hotel from the wedding venue the first shuttle will leave at 10:30 PM
